You can get the Cruze with a 181 horsepower turbo engine and a 6-speed, but only in China.

Hey, GM, I know China's your second biggest market and the only reason why Buick still exists, but maybe you'd be able to sell the Cruze to people who aren't looking to increase the number of available "intermediate compact" rentals at JFK if you'd give us something along those lines.

I live in Maryland, where we just got pounded with snow and has been below freezing for the last month. On a side note I saw a Miata with massive camber trying to drive in the snow, didn't see it crash, but would be surprised if it didn't.

There are some hella nice Saturns out there, and some fast (autox winners...) ones too.

They were never super popular in the aftermarket, but there are a few turboed ones, and a few supercharged ones, along with at least one Ion Redline/cobalt SS/sc swap.

And an... SR20. No joke.

There's a Hyundai Accent with a fart can exhaust, chopped springs, and a body kit (who knew they made body kits for those things?) that I see from time to time... and it's automatic. Also saw similar mods on a Kia Sephia the other day.

I had no idea that existed, so thank you for pointing that out. However, the winged Beetles I see locally are front-wheel drive, and thus the wings are purely for aesthetics at the cost of real world performance (increased drag).
